Summary

Mike ruminates on the splendid virtues of a certain “Full Figured Gal,” and tells the true story of the day his lawyer – The Irish Hammer – changed the trajectory of his career by challenging him to put a pig on a pedestal. He then invites The Irish Hammer herself – Mary Sullivan – to explain why she left a successful law firm to oversee the career of a man who crawled through sewers to make a living.

0:59.7	blowing myself up or in her words to keep me from becoming an asshole.
1:05.8	Her name is Mary Sullivan but around the office I like to call her the Irish Hammer.

1:13.3	Because Mary is very Irish and while she has the capacity to be incredibly sweet her temper
1:18.9	is not a thing you want to inflame.
1:22.1	The Irish Hammer is a lawyer by trade who for reasons I still don't entirely understand
1:28.3	left her very successful law practice years ago to run my business.
1:33.2	Over the years she has impersonated an agent, a manager, a publicist, a shrink.
1:40.6	We've been business partners for a long time now and today since she appears in this
1:45.3	chapter of my book, she's agreed to answer a few of my questions here on the podcast.
