Jesus is so genius, we talk about this a lot, but people don't think of them as genius they should,

in all the other wonderful things that he is.

I've been memorizing this scripture mainly because I have this app and I get points from memorizing scripture

so I picked a short one, so it's easy points, trying to get caught up with Ashley and Khalil.

They're my next two on the scoreboard.

They're winning right now.

They're beating me.

Okay.

But I'm memorizing Matthew 541.

It's short to the point, Jesus said this, if anyone forces you to go one mile, go with them two miles.

In the process of memorizing this very short thing, it really makes me think through it.

If someone forces you, you don't have a choice, you have to go one mile, then go the extra mile.

He's showing that what other people do doesn't have to determine your behavior.

And he does that in a million different ways.

Like you say it many times in that same talk, like someone hits you in the face, you turn the other cheek.

Like you don't dictate my behavior.

If I hit you back, you started that, now I'm like, what am I an animal?

Someone forces you to go one mile, you show them, you go an extra mile.

This is a way to freedom.

It's just so genius.
