And many of us went into this year looking for something, looking to create something of a higher

nature, looking to create something different in our lives,

but at the same time we haven't been willing to sacrifice anything in order to get it.

And where a lot of people could sacrifice is the TV and the phone.

Like I said earlier this year, I am not going to watch any NBA basketball games that don't involve the Golden State Warriors and I've stuck to that and

that has created so much more time for me to get things done. I was posted on

Instagram yesterday my January reading wrap up and it was 10 books

2,700 pages which is what like 75 pages a day. I wrote about 75 pages for a project I'm working on.

I got about 25 workouts in in the month of January. Now how did I get all that done? I sacrificed

basketball, I sacrificed television, and I sacrificed spending time on my phone.

Like I post on Instagram,

then my phone goes into a drawer

and I don't think about it for hours.

Then I'll go back and I'll see what's going on

on the gram or see if I have any text messages.

And then I go back to productive things, productive tasks.

And so you have to be willing to do something like this.

So many of us are just hooked on our phones.
