Brand new year trying to get back into this podcast thing.

I said I was going to get back started, but I said no, I'm going to wait till the new year starts.

And now when we're going to try to embark on some form of consistency.

So if you're new, my name's Tava.

I run this page with my wife Safa.

And if you are a returning subscriber, you're a real one.

Because boy, we, we draw the ball on this, you know, but today's going to be the first episode,

won't make it too long, first episode of the year. And I have the kids that are awake and Safa's

trying to keep everybody quiet and away from the office. So we ain't got that

kind of time to be doing too much. I'm going to jump right into it. I felt as though God wanted

me to talk about dating in a form of worship. Now this podcast, I just want to talk about things

related to God, not just about dating. Hey, I love you, you love me. Let's go start one big happy family.

Listen, man, church culture, we so focused on who we're dating, so focus on who we get married

to, that people take the focus off of God. And I believe God wanted us to place the emphasis

But for some things that I want us to see in today's episode, in 1st Corinthians 11 verse

1, Paul, you know, who's arguably our greatest example of how to live outside of Jesus

Christ himself, tells a very powerful statement. Very simple, but powerful. He says, be followers of me,

even as I also am of Christ. So we see Paul, he's an individual who was doing his best to live for God. It just
