That quote comes to us from Craig Para, podcaster and founder of the mindful habit.

Now, Craig's been on the show many times, but that quote is a great reminder

to me. You know, sometimes on porn for radio, I focus on the struggle too much. You know, it's hard

walking out recovery, you know, when we're stuck, when we're struggling with mistaken beliefs,

when we're relapsing.

And, you know, I want to be honest about that.

But when I think about that quote, I have to ask myself, what am I doing to kick ass in life?

Am I creating a great life? Am I pursuing a great life? You know, because that's part of it,

right? It's balanced. It's not just about doing recovery. It's about recovering to something,

creating a great life. So I have to ask myself, what excites me?

What sparks joy in me?

What gives me energy?

Because I want to be moving towards that.

I don't just want to be letting go of something.

I want to be moving to something.

Now, I was in a French coffee shop today and they had a special on macarones. I think I'm pronouncing that right. Macarones are like

these colorful little pastries that taste like a cloud of sugar. Think of like the fanciest Oreo you've ever had,

like a little pastry about the size of an Oreo with a cream filling in all these incredible

flavors. Chocolate with pear, peppermint, rose. Yeah, there was one that was that was rose flavored, lavender,

Meyer Lemon, and my favorite, P.B.N.J. Just imagine the most incredible peanut butter sandwich

you've ever had in your entire life.
