When Italians say goodbye, they don't always just say, chow. If they know you've got plans,

it's really common to also hear Have Fun. And you can say have fun to Italians as well. It's

really warm and friendly and Italians say it to each other all the time. But the Italian version of

Have Fun is actually very different from English.

So you'll get to hear the right and wrong way to say it

You might hear a receptionist say it as you're about to go out or your

apartment host might say it to wish you a fun stay in Italy. It might be tempting to translate

have fun in Italian word for word, but you actually don't want to use the word have in Italian

at all. There is another word you have to use.
