And welcome back to Corpus Delicti, the podcast.

We are working through our foreign fatality series.

And this one, believe it or not, we're going to Glasgow, Scotland.

And real quick, this is the last episode before we have our two-week break.

So no episode for two weeks after this, and then we'll be back in December.

So, and we'll finish off the series at that time.

We'll have probably two or three in December before a Christmas break,

and then we will end the year and the series at the same time. So on that note, like Jen said,

we are going to go over to Glasgow, Scotland. We are in the 1960s, and during this time,

dance halls were all the rage. People would go out at night, enjoy the lights,

the music. It was nightlife, party, fun, dancing. And among one of these dancers was an unidentified

man who came to be known as Bible John, who was Scotland's serial killer.

He was connected to at least three young women and their murders.

The murders committed by Bible John would prove to be the first time in Scotland in which the

Crown Office, but just the police there, authorized publication of a composite drawing or a

police sketch of an individual suspected of murder. So this is the very first time. So, I mean,

this is a big deal for them. Now, all of Bible John's victims, they ranged from 25 to 32 years old.

All of the known victims were brunette and they all last

danced at the Barrowland Ballroom. So the Barrowland Ballroom was rebuilt in 1960. The original

building had burned down. So it was redone. And this was the place to go during this time.
