Welcome back to Untold Italy, the travel podcast that takes you from

coast to coast of beautiful Italia. Today, we're heading back to Sicily. The island is having

quite its moment in the sun thanks to recent TV series White Lotus 2 and for filming locations

of the new Indiana Jones movie. But those in the know have always known just how special Sicily is.

Joining me today is one such person, my friend, Karen LaRosa, whose passion for Sicily

knows no bounds.

I've had the pleasure of collaborating with Karen on several projects and I'm always

blown away by the depth of her knowledge

and her passion for Sicily, its culture and its people. On this episode, we're headed to a place

that Karen has a very special affinity with the city of Katania. Often in the shadow of her more
