My name is Taylor Rockwell, here with me to talk about the concept and the history

of dual nationals is a man who could represent one, two, seven different countries. I'm not really

sure how it works when it comes to podcasting. It's Graham Ruffin. Hello, Graham. Hello, Taylor.

If you mean which countries have I visited and would then be eligible for, then, yeah, absolutely. I can't wait to play for Bosnia one day. Hey, you never know, my friend. You never know. You do sort of know. You're probably not going to play for Bosnia. You could podcast for them one day. But that is what we're going to discuss. What are dual nationals? How can players become eligible for different national teams who are the most famous dual nationals in soccer history?

And maybe some what ifs as well.

What might have been if a player had chosen one over the other?

But Graham, let's start with the very basics.

What is a dual national when it comes to soccer?

So first of all, Taylor, do you have any dual nationality eligibility?

No.

Not at all.

You're just pure USA all the way through.

I think and for a very long time, I think USA all the way.

My wife, however, is in the process of getting Italian citizenship. And so I

have entertained the idea that one day our daughters could play for the Italian women's national

team, if not the US women's national team, depending on how things go. There you go. That's the

future. I had a granny who was born in England, so I guess I could have been like right back for the three lines.

I think I just, I think I just was sick in my mouth a little bit right there, to be honest.

But other than that, nope, I'm a pure brave heart, I suppose.

The only thing that stopped me from playing for Scotland was the fact that I was rubber-shoot football.

But that was just a small obstacle.
