When you're proposing to well-roundedly raise your child so that they can launch into the world

and actually be a light, be on purpose for the Lord and his call on their life, like ultimately

that's like the goal. They would be prepared to do that as much as possible and whatever they

aren't prepared for, they at least have a strong faith that they go, oh, I can go to God's word

and I can go to my parents or I can go to my mentors in a biblical community and they can find

the answers. They're not going to flounder.

So you guys, I'm so excited to have Angie on the podcast today and Angie, before we dive in,

I'm sure our audiences have a lot of crossovers, a lot of people know you, but there's also a lot

that have never been introduced to you. So how would you introduce yourself to those who don't know

who you are? Oh, hi guys. I'm Angie Tolpen. Many of you guys probably have followed on

courageous parenting or courageous mom on Instagram or on Facebook. My husband and I have a parenting

ministry together. I'd say that's probably what we're probably most known for, right? The podcast

has been going for almost four years now, which is super exciting, but I've been a ministry since 2008

and have been an author, podcaster, blogger, you know, all the things that I can do from the home,

but my most important job is being a wife and a mom. Isaac and I have been married for 23 years,

and we have nine kids and we just had our first grandbaby.

Yes, it is so fun having that crossover. It's funny because we introduced you, well, not

we introduced you. We interviewed you guys on our podcast like way, way back. I think yours has

been going for a few months or maybe a year and ours was had been going a little bit shorter.

And it's just so funny because I think Austin was 16 at the time and I know clue he was going to

be my brother-in-law in a couple years. So wild how life can take its turns like that, huh?
