Summary

Joe Stout and his wife, Elizabeth, have nine children ages 13 years to eight months old. They live on a farm with 500 goats and run a 90-year-old company that makes health supplements from goat milk. Joe received a Master’s of Science in Clinical Human Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport and a Bachelor’s of Science in Human Nutrition and Food Science from Washington State University. Along with running the farm, He has engaged in graduate studies of Sustainable Food Systems at Green Mountain College and is certified in Permaculture Design.

One of the things that, especially, I think young dads can forget is that you're using

your strength to invest in someone else's strength, because children are wealth.

We just can't forget the fact that government wants us to always think about how expensive

But the exact opposite is the reality, is that yes, there is an investment of time and money

that kids require, but the payoff is just so exponentially beyond anything that you

can put into a balance sheet, that when you invest in your children, when you invest

in your sons, when you invest in your daughters, you're literally investing in yourself.

And those children, the strength of those children, will be your glory and your crown as

So not only is the glory of young man his strength, but that strength is if it's directed

into building his house, if the young woman is directing their strength into building

her house, then what they're actually doing is just building out more glory, building
