Yeah. Hello and welcome to the latest episode of Battleground with me Saul David and Patrick Bishop.

0:53.1

Well, after the hurly-burly of the political upheavals in America, our attention has focused once again,

0:55.0

and probably not before time,

1:00.4

on what is happening on the ground and in the broader global context of the war. And what we're seeing is very interesting. Russia is continuing its battlefield effort, but at the same time,

in Europe. The move is a bid by the Biden White House to underline its commitment to NATO and its

2:08.3

European allies. Well, this got a predictable response from Putin, who in a speech on Sunday to mark

2:13.9

Russian Navy Day, accused the US of escalating tensions saying we will take mirror

2:19.9

measures. Well, let's deal with those naval exercises first saw. Moscow's trying hard to look
