0:18.6	So far, we know all the numbers from 1 to 39. Today we're going to get to
0:23.5	59. To begin with, the word for 40 is 40. This is a bit different from our word for 4, which is
0:34.3	4, and our word for 14, which is 14.
0:40.1	This word, 40, is pronounced with a stress on the syllable, Ren.
0:46.7	Quarenta.
0:48.3	For example, I see 30 or 40 houses.
1:13.9	Beo 30 or 40 houses. Beo 30 or 40 houses. To talk about the numbers from 41 to 49, you do the same thing we've been doing with 30. You say literally 40 and then I and then the single digit number.
1:20.7	For example, 42 is 42, literally 40 and 2.
1:23.6	Try it yourself in this next example.
1:27.1	7 times 7 is 49.
1:28.3	7.7 are 49.
1:31.3	And then the number 41 behaves exactly the same as the number 31.
1:39.3	To say 41 by itself, you'll say 40 and 1.
1:46.2	But if you use it with a feminine noun, it's 40 and una.
1:51.6	And when it's right before a masculine noun, it's 40 and 1.
1:56.6	For example, there are 41 houses in 41 places.
2:01.6	There are 41 houses in 41 places.
