this is Blake with marvel.com and I have the pleasure of sitting with mister

lenny jacupson of the show big time in Hollywood Florida I comedy Central we were talking about earlier I'm a big fan of the show I've seen the first three episodes I have so many questions I guess my first

Wednesdays on comedy Central at 1030.

That I can take that question off.

So how did you get involved with the show in the first place?

You know what, I don't have a great story for this it's I mean it is a

great story I didn't know Alex and Dan. Alex and Dan Fanger Dan Champ they

created the series with Red Hour and Comedy Central I didn't't know them. They're NYU boys and I know friends of theirs which is pretty much everyone now.

NYU is taking over the world. I just got a regular, you know, email from my agent about an audition

for, you know, it was July for a pilot for Comedy Central.

So, you know, I read the audition sides and I really dug it right away, you know,

as soon as, you know, the first, the dinner scene of the pilot.

For those listening, our show is about two brothers who are filmmakers in Hollywood, Florida, and they are delusionally fixated on the fact that they are

fantastic at making film and they are focused on making their greatness and they are absolutely horrible.

They couldn't be further away from Hollywood,

talent-wise or location-wise if they tried.

So basically, and then our parents you know tell us it's time to

move out very very step-brotherish but by the end of the episode it goes very

much in a different direction than stepbrothers. It gets very dark. So I had read that scene and I was like,

wow this is really good. I loved it. You know he tells the dad to f off. That was always fun when you tell your parents to go F themselves. Can we swear in this?

Yeah. Tell them to go fuck himself.
