A long time ago, I heard a doctor say, you cannot heal if you are unwilling to give up

And I remember my jaw dropped to the floor that saying has stuck with me ever since. How true is that? It is extremely challenging

to get healthier. It's not even extremely challenging. It's impossible to get healthier and

Consume junk food, not drink enough water, not get outside, not exercise, or take walks,

I'm like, oh my gosh, so parallel. Decluttering signals a change in our minds and our hearts in a realignment of our values and hope and an opportunity for new doors to open and for healing to take place. Just like putting healthier foods into our body signals a change, so does

decluttering our physical environment. In fact, it's what our bodies inside, I think, have been

craving all along. Every single one of us, we innately crave simplicity because our brains are

wired to crave simplicity in order. Our brains don't like chaos,

whether that's the foods and things we're consuming that are causing chaos within us or the

environments we're creating and the homes we're living that have clutter, which is chaos.
