from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on today's episode of Doctor Game Show. Okay. So we just discussed in the pre-show that I want the audience to heal me of my fluency speech impediment issue where I pause in the middle of sentences.

My old boss used to call it Manoloisms. And when I was editing the last episode,

I measured the silence between a sentence in the middle of a sentence.

It was eight seconds.

And no one thought to stop me,

which is nice that we had patient listeners.

Mano, I had a question.

Did you used to say like a lot as a teen or kid?

You know, people used to say like, like, like, like.

Not really.

Maybe in phases, I would say um, maybe.

But I think I was mostly pausing.

I was mostly pausing. because i feel like pausing to think has is like the replacement like i remember i used to say like a lot and i feel like to get away

from that i ended up just pausing and not saying anything in between words.

Yeah, because some people get nervous and one need to fill the time with some word, so they'll say, uh, or they'll say like, like, you know.

Oh, yeah. I mean, I think it's whenever I try to be deliberate with my words instead of like talking, like free flowing.

I do it like on stage a lot, but I think it becomes part of whatever my vibe is.

Also, right now I'm doing a lot of effort into not pausing but are you on coffee right now
