My husband and I are trapped in a pattern of arguing. Whenever

a small disagreement pops up,

it turns into a heated feud.

We end up either refusing to resolve

it or resorting to character

assassination. We can't seem to

break the cycle no matter what the topic

is. What can we do?

I love that the Word of God is not sort of religiously unrealistic.

The Bible is gritty.

The dust and dirt and blood of the fallen world are on every page.

And so the Bible doesn't avoid the issue of human conflict.

It isn't free from the discussion of anger.

And one of the sad realities of the fall is human anger.

I mean, think of this.

In the very next generation, the sons of Adam and Eve,

there is sibling homicide.

How fast anger explodes into the human community.

And one of the places that I find most helpful
