So I have a confession. I am a TV and movie addict. I will binge almost anything on Netflix.

I will go out to any science fiction movie. I am a huge

fan of the genre. But there's one thing that grates on me more than anything else is when

there is bad science reflected in those movies. Do you know what I'm talking about?

Yeah, nothing sort of breaks the suspension of

disbelief quicker than you know that they've just got something wrong. And I'm not going to see

Guardians of the Galaxy to learn about quantum mechanics. Like, let's not overstate things,

but when they like don't get the gravity right of a spaceship, it kind of just draws me out of the

story a little bit. And I've

wondered how writers approach this idea of incorporating good science into their stories because

there is such a history, especially when you watch 80s and 90s TV, of terrible, terrible
