My favorite thing about Mark Lat's just such a deep composer, man.

He releases so much music and every song is like an epic journey.

I've got multiple albums under his own name.

Now I take that back. My favorite thing is that he's such a well-rounded musician with such a good groove and he's a workaholic playing with so many different bands from Corey Wong and the Fearless Flyers to of course his Grammy-Grabbin future funk band Snarky Puppy. They're all over the place doing cool stuff at all times.

To his own solo band, the Mark Latiri Group, which by the way has a killer tour coming up.

They're going to hit a bunch of Europe and some of the states in the spring.

Anyway, this is Mark's second appearance on No Guitar is Safe.

He was one of the first people on, well, you know, in the first six months.

Got to realize we're in our 10th year now.

But back in 2015, actually, I think it was January 2016 at the NAM show.

We did a cool interview. And if you want to go back and listen to that, you'll hear all kinds of good stuff, including him talking about doing his hip-hop sessions and gospel sessions.

And back then he had his cutting board pedal board, which he made a pedal board by stealing one of the cutting boards from his family kitchen and actually getting away with that without

too much heat from his family.

So that's good.

And I mentioned that

because it does make an appearance today along with his newer pedalboard he plays a

bunch of guitars for you today including some baritones but also his bad ass

signature model PRS Fiori.
