So, yo, like I said, we are doing a topic outside the box.

You know, we're going to be talking about something that is affecting doctors, but we're going to learn a lesson from something that's going on right now that doesn't involve doctors, right?

So, you know, as soon as I sent

this to you all, you guys were really interested on this. This is taking social media by storm.

And we're going to be talking about basically owning your intellectual property, your IP, you know,

whatever makes you worth something to someone else. We're going to talk about that. And specifically,

we're going to jump in on this Joe Budden versus Spotify beef. So y'all are aware what's going on, right? Yep. Yeah. So for the audience who don't know, Joe Budden, you know, he came out with Pump It Up back in Quest. What was this? Like early 2000s or something? Pump, pump, pump it up. I think it was late 90s. Late 90s. Yeah, like 99. Yeah, 99.2,000. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But, you know, he, after that, you know, his career kind of just, you know, plateaued and he kind of fell to the backside. But then, you know, as with most people, VH1 saves the day. He ends up on love and hip hop, I think, one of those shows on VH1. And then, you know, his career has kind of resurrected a little bit. And then he's got this podcast that he started back in 2015 with some friends. And literally, like, they are doing a podcast in the basement, popping a trunk, you know, taking it back old school. And it's a hit. It's on

complex, which is, you know, it's a pretty big media company. You know, it's not like a really big media company, but it's a big media company kind of focused on hip hop and so forth. I think they had Deez and Mara at one point. Oh, yeah, Deis and Maro. They bounced. They went over to Showtime.

I think they went over to Vice first.

What to go?

They were on Complex, then they went to Vice, and then they went to Showtime. Yeah. Right. So his show was doing really well talking about everything related to hip-hop. Beefs, music, Top Vives, you know, all the different things that you would expect to hear. And it's a good show.

And then he had some type of issue with complex in terms of revenue sharing and advertisements.

Long story short, he ended up leaving. The next spot that he went to was Spotify. So at this

point, Spotify came to them like 2017, 2018. It was like, look,

we're going to give you this deal. We're going to give you this many, I don't know how many
