0:07.0

special guest with us today mr. John Crocker I thought I was hoping you knew my name. I'm not aware of anything you've done,

0:16.7

never seen you before. A blank slate interview. Who are you dude and how do you wander into the Thorroom?

0:23.2

You've been showing me this awesome art from your collection,

0:28.0

like Captain America, some big Kirby fan?

0:31.4

Oh yes, yes. I started loving Marvel during the silver age of Marvel, which was when they

0:40.1

created Fantastic Four and Thor and I'm explaining this to you like you don't know but

0:46.3

the era I was growing up and when I got engaged in the comic books and I did not know that if you if you

1:40.4

oh it's fantastic and you know and it just makes me happy to see it every day.

1:46.7

So what would you say is your favorite piece?

1:49.5

My favorite piece is probably, I have a fantastic for splash page which is you know the big image

1:56.3

page one from I think Fantastic Four 43 which is this big hulking picture of the thing in the foreground with these

2:08.6

villains behind him and it's interesting because at the time in the actual printed book they cut out the thing image and made him smaller in the foreground.

2:18.7

So they had to actually reconstruct the original image as Jack Kirby drew it.
