Why does this group of cross-dressing men mock the Catholic Church, this group that call themselves the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence?

This is a group of gay men who are basically drag performers.

They've been around for a long time in San Francisco, and they claim this mantle of civic hero duty

because they do like ministry to in AIDS hospices and for, you know, AIDS patients, which is great.

That's wonderful. They do that.

But because of their, you know, political stance on these issues, they have vilified and made their main enemy in life
