very first insanity plea.

Last time in part one, we left off with the suspect in the murder of 12-year-old Marion

Parker, William Edward Hickman, fleeing the Los Angeles area once investigators are beginning

to zero in on the building where Hickman resided.

They're going to pick up the story from there.

The LAPD detectives on the case are going to discover their very first piece of solid

forensic evidence in the case that will bring them closer to officially naming a suspect.

Other than the victim's father, Perry Parker, that is.

I want to remind you that most of the details in this episode are from a book written about

this case entitled Not Just Evil by David Wilson.

I've developed this script based on the story and timeline in his book, however the

various official records and documents were transcribed into the book, and I've read

to you word for word for this podcast.
