How are you doing, Will? I'm all right, feeling

pretty relaxed. I got my dog here next to me. He's a good boy. We have some pretty exciting

anniversaries coming up. This week is actually the 10th anniversary of the rally to restore sanity.

I didn't want that to pass without it being acknowledged. You pointed out an exciting anniversary

to me, though, that may be a

little bit more relevant to the topic of this week's episode. Well, hang on. I don't think you're treating

the rally to restore sanity with the reverence that it deserves because, you know, it was 10 years

ago. We restored sanity. It was 10 years ago that the foul scourge of partisanship was finally buried

once and for all. Whether it's 9-11 truthers or or racist or Marxists, we conquered them all.

Yeah, it was, yeah, it was in Stewart's kind of closing riff.

It was a tea party fanatics or something and racists and or Marxists who want to destroy the Constitution.

And you know, they almost did, but we got them.

Equally sinister antagonists in American life.

But fortunately, sanity was restored and we've moved on.
