tech in the UK. Prime Minister Theresa May is charging ahead with a controversial platform for

technology in the internet, despite what is basically universally recognized as an embarrassing

last week when she had called a snap election to strengthen her majority going into the Brexit

negotiations. And that didn't exactly happen. She ended up losing seats and now has to form a government

with a Northern Irish Unionist party. That was not the plan. The plan was to

strengthen the majority to be able to not just get a better Brexit deal, but to push through

this controversial legislation, which is now looking less likely. But joining me to discuss

this topic and what the UK election means for technology are tech freedoms to foreign

correspondence, because of course.
