spoke we implied that USA Gymnastics altered history by removing Sharp's name from Bridget Slo's biography on their website.

Well, it's not completely accurate.

So here's what we found out.

The name of the gym on the athlete's bio is actually automatically generated from a database.

So when a gym becomes ineligible, so they're removed from that database,

it doesn't populate the name of the gym then on the athlete's bio and of course

Marvin Sharps gym because he was the owner is now not a USA Gymnastics gym anymore

and so it was then taken out of the database and therefore automatically removed so no one actually went in physically and deleted it from her bio

but that's how the system works. So did they intentionally do it? No, but it is part of the system that is in place and that could be changed. It's a so, eh, it's still altering history, but no one
