When Lauren Agee, a 21-year-old college student in Tennessee, made plans with an acquaintance to attend Wakefest in July of 2015,

she was excited to party and have fun with friends. Under the notion that the girls would be staying in a cabin on the lake,

Lauren was surprised to find out upon arrival that they would be meeting up with Hannah's boyfriend and some of his friends,

and they would be all sleeping outdoors

at a hard-to-reach campsite on a cliffside. To top it off, she was expected to share a hammock with a

guy she didn't even know. When Lauren supposedly went missing in the middle of the night,

none of her so-called friends were worried or even tried to find out where she may have gone.

When her body was discovered in a hidden cove by fishermen later that evening, the so-called

friend's behavior began to be called into question and was extremely suspicious to the off-duty

police who were working security and had responded to the discovery.

But the police handling the case quickly ruled Lauren's death and accident, although they are the only ones buying the so-called friends ever-changing stories.
