Summary

You can't have a Nobody Asked Us episode without a pet update. In the intro, Des gives in an update on her puppy Rivers, and Kara details the history that led to a Bearded Dragon joining the Goucher household. Hi Margot!

Then, Des and Kara wade into the deep end to discuss recent track and field controversies involving New Gen Track & Field, potential hot weather at the US Marathon Trials in Orlando, and race bibs. Kara finds herself speaking for "The Man" (aka USATF) as Des tries to bring balance to the discussion about heat at the Trials. 1:00.4	he was playing out in the yard. He came in and then he peed in the house. So Ryan was like,
1:03.9	no, like he'd really harsh with it. So that was 15 minutes into my run. I come back from
1:09.4	a 12 mile run. So this is like, you know, hour plus later. And he was so sad. Like you
1:15.5	could tell it like he's a very sensitive fella is what we're learning. He was still really
1:20.2	upset that he had got yelled at. Oh, he really felt that. Yeah. Poor guy. So we're learning
1:26.2	about him. And how's it going with your other dog with Boston? Good. They're getting
1:32.6	along better and better. I don't think he loves the puppy attention all the time, but
1:38.3	he's managing. Do they play a little bit? They wrestle all the time. And then like the
1:44.6	Boston, the older dogs like, okay, we're done. We're going inside and relaxing and then
1:48.0	rivers is like, but I still want to eat your tail. Like you just chase him and pull on
1:51.6	his tail. I'm like, it's so mean. So he separate them quite a bit too. How is your brand
1:57.6	new bearded dragon? Okay, it does. So cold has wanted one for years, but they live eight
2:05.0	to 12 years in captivity. And you have to feed them like live things, you know? And so
