What an amazing. Well, supposedly finish at Tien, which we didn't get, did we? You experienced them out on the road. But there is so much to talk about.

But how about first up, we talk about it from your point of view on the about what you saw.

And then the subsequent decision-making process by the race organisers in terms of cancelling the race, basically.

Well, actually, up to the foot of the Calde de'Hs-Hon, it was a great, it was turning out to be a great stage.

And as we was lining up to be one hell of a race, I was in a t-shirt going over the summit of the

Israel, but on the descent I put a jacket on. By the time we got into Valdezere, it started raining.

By the time we got out of Valdezre, it was hailstorms, and we were through the tunnels which is on the Bordelac at the bottom of Tien before you turn

left and the gendarme stopped us in a tunnel they said you can't go any further there to bring

diggers through to clear the road further up there'd been a landslide a mud landslide so I think it was

in hindsight at the time I think a lot of people were scratching their heads and confused but looking

back I think it was the best decision because the road was simply unsafe to race on. And you couldn't send riders through. So I think they made the correct

call. I think maybe the way it was communicated back to everyone was what was frustrating for a lot
