In part two, Jeff Nies reflects upon the first time he saw the memorial for the victims

of the beltway snipers.

So walking along in all of this is his very picturesque setting.

There's concrete patio, maybe 50 feet by 50 feet.

There are these two structures standing maybe 4 feet by 8 feet tall and three or 4 concrete

benches.

Nice landscape around it and a lake behind it, so it's really curious about what this

was.

So I go walking over there.

I go up the first structure sitting there and I look at it, I've got to tell you I'm

stunned.

It's a ten names of the people killed in the DC region.

They're in October of 2002 by the snipers.

And every one of these names had a meaning to me, especially those killed in Montgomery

County.

James Morton, James Sonny Buchanan, Walker, the cab driver, Luis Rivera, whose two-year

daughter was in the van at the time, Conrad Johnson, the bus driver that was killed at the

time, and it just struck me.
