In this episode, I share my journey with public speaking and how mindfulness helped me grow from a girl who could barely read a written presentation in front of her classmates, to confidently speaking in front of 60 women at a wellness event!

mindfulness. My own journey with public speaking has been anything but a fairy tale. I remember during VCE, I was

doing speaking presentations every week and I absolutely dreaded it. Even though I was doing it

regularly, it never became any easier for me. I was always shaking and sweating. My heart was racing. I would

stumble on my words and stammer and feel so overwhelmed and like I was losing control. In year 12,

all of my teachers knew how hard speaking presentations were for me and they always always let me speak

first so I could just get it over and done with throughout my time at uni I only did a couple of

presentations because honestly I avoided subjects which involved public speaking assessments
