Happy Thanksgiving, everybody.

For those of you that spend time with your family, I hope it's great.

For the rest of you that don't, I hope you have other plans that are just as fulfilled.

I myself don't hang out with my family during the holidays.

I've actually tried to avoid them.

Since I've met my wife, her family is very kind and loving and supportive of her and mostly prefer to hang out with

her family on the holidays.

Also, on the last episode, I made the grave mistake of talking about things that make me

happy.

And I mentioned, like, getting a job and buying a house.

And I don't even know really why I said those things because those things don't really make me happy.

Being with my wife, that's all I really kind of need in life, just her companionship and being

around what we consider our children, our dogs.

So this week's episode is going to be why some of us don't associate with our family,

why some of us might not have the same holidays that others will have. And to kick things off,

I would like to share the quote, blood is thicker than water. And the actual saying

is the bond between comrades is stronger even than your family's allegiance. Or the blood

of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb. And it actually means that blood shed

on a battlefield bond soldiers more strongly than simple genetics.

Or in today's world, experience and sharing in life means more than somebody's blood relation to you.
