0:27.7	that, as ever, are shaping America and the world. We begin with the headlines. The U.S.
0:35.3	Supreme Court announced yesterday that it will hear President Trump's
0:38.3	bid to end birthright citizenship. The Wall Street Journal and Washington Post report that the
0:43.3	court agreed to hear arguments into President Trump's executive order that would up in the
0:47.8	current system where someone becomes a U.S. citizen if they are born in the U.S. known as the
0:52.6	right of soil. Unfortunately, though, that has
0:55.5	allowed abuses like birth tourism, where women will lie or sneak to get into the U.S., have their
1:01.0	child, and then use that baby's automatic citizenship for their future claims, like citizenship
1:06.5	for the mother or the father themselves. Trump issued an executive order that would change that.
1:11.9	U.S. citizenship would instead be based on right of blood, or at least one parent has to be a U.S.
1:16.8	citizen for the baby to get it as well. For what it's worth, that is how most of Europe currently
1:22.5	operates. The Supreme Court will rule on either the merits of Trump's argument. Perhaps it can't be changed
1:28.9	via executive order, or maybe there's some middle ground here. They might allow Trump's right
1:34.2	of blood to apply in some states while others would remain on the right of soil. We'll see.
1:39.3	Probably a decision on that later into May, maybe into July or August. We'll see. Next, the Trump administration
1:46.8	is trying to crack down on another kind of fraud or migrant abuse this morning, targeting illegal
1:51.9	aliens who allegedly are using the Medicare system. The Washington Post reports that ICE
1:57.3	and Doge members are using an HHS database to determine whether or which illegals are
2:02.5	using Medicare. And with that data in hand, they're trying to track down and deport those
