this might be the last one you hear from us for a bit which is going to be completely and utterly

up to date if you like. Yes.'re going to be doing it guest yeah well we're not going to pretend that we're looking into the future and

But obviously what we'll do is we'll put a couple of podcasts out which are not particularly time sensitive about

stories about Flick Street stuff like that you know we can talk about but I want to

talk to you about the power cut that we had last way right because I know that you're

not particularly an eco-borrier right I mean even they drive a Volvo I do my bit well I'm just about to get an electric car so you said I recycle well I'd be a bit worried about that for you because it turns out

yeah it needs electricity one it needs electricity and apparently the wind farm that was supposed to supply electricity to us over the course of the weekend

failed alongside a gas-fired power station and both of them failed which meant that there were no trains going

anywhere there was no tubes going anywhere there was large sways of

northwest of England out of power and large sways of sort of not I think Norfolk

where you spend a bit of time.

It's which hospital, lost its power, and also the backup generator failed.

So they were running around for about half an hour keeping people alive, I think.

That's nice, isn't it? But I mean, it does worry, doesn't it? people alive I think. That's nice isn't it? I mean it does worry

doesn't it because I used to say that the infrastructure of America whenever I go

over there I noticed now and I think we've talked about this before is kind of

failing because so many of the train lines, so many of the kind of you know the

things that you take for granted that you use every day. The roads are in bad

shape because there isn't money for you know the states

mostly don't have any money to fix the roads and there's potholes everywhere

you know New York City has always been sort of semi-bankrupt anyway but you know I'm
