I just thought, I like groovy bass lines, repetitive, two bar, four bar phrases.

So it was an impulsive decision on January 1st where I just said, I'm going to do this for a whole year.

might have been on YouTube actually thinking about it now.

Back in the day, can you were, there was no beard, there was like, maybe a little more hair, more hair than I've got.

And there was a P-base.

And it was like shot in this beautiful, like, warehouse.

Yeah, of course. The song was called stair steps was that what it was yeah so guys you should definitely check this out after obviously watch this interview first um but go check it out because beautiful Ian's playing this amazing P-base and then he starts singing at the end like an angel I might add like an angel I can

remember watching that video I don't think we've ever talked to him this I can remember watching

this video and I was like oh man this guy's great he's great player great player and then suddenly

halfway through you just start beautifully singing and I was like oh my I was like he's off the

Christmas card lift I can he can sing

that great as well as I do do you sing still or not is it something you do uh yeah I like singing

I mean I'm not um I'd like to be better at it and have more opportunities to sing and play

I struggle singing and playing to be honest so it's something I need to work on.

It's a bass thing in it.

It's like the percussiveness or maybe the syncopation thing of the bass is like, it's wacky.

Well, at least it is for me.
