people like and admire successful people and they're scared of people who are on the way down

because hey maybe someone that's going to rub off on me

we often use money as the metric to decide status maybe I could have asked for help a

little bit more but I was a shame.

Two days guest is one of the big names in the failure industry.

Obviously that's not a real thing.

But James Altutcher is simply one of the most fascinating people I've ever spoken to, so I had to get him on the show.

He made millions selling his website company and then blew it all over the next couple of years.

Down on his luck, he noticed that nobody who was there for him on the way up was there for him on the way down.

He started writing 10 ideas a day, whether creative, financial, personal, whatever on a notepad.

And he'll talk about how that, along with emails of ideas or full of ideas for others got him back on his feet.

He since made and lost millions over and over again.

He seems to do it on a daily basis.

He recently made worldwide headlines after writing a negative essay about New York

after COVID, believing that it won't recover. It was read out by the likes of Joe Rogon, but

also New York native Jerry Seinfeld, who called James a

putts, which is Yiddish for idiot. James certainly isn't an idiot. He's a chessmaster

for one, and he now has a website called note PD.com

where other users are encouraged to come together and write their 10 ideas.

It's everyone sharing ideas and growing as a community. It's how
