0:51.4 | affected by human trafficking and I'm also a survivor of human trafficking. |
0:55.1 | So I do quite a few things but predominantly I'm just a survivor advocate and serve survivors |
1:02.6 | locally. I also sort of I focus on survivor aftercare and I also focus on human trafficking |
1:10.6 | specifically in the digital space on our social media platforms. That's a little bit of what I do. |
1:17.1 | I got you and what was it that got you involved in this space to begin with? |
1:22.1 | Yeah well being a survivor of human trafficking after I had the opportunity to be free I wanted |
1:28.1 | to give back and sort of pay for it a little bit. So I started volunteering and after I started |
1:34.9 | volunteering I moved actually after that and I volunteered for another organization and then |
1:42.3 | they asked if they could send me to school to become a survivor advocate and I said yes |
1:46.8 | and so that sort of started a whole new chapter of my journey. It's been pretty incredible |
