During the break we were just talking about how we found our apartments and you found it

And we were like way less than ideal circumstances because the apartment above us was leaking into ours

And the building wasn't doing anything about it so we couldn't get out fast enough

So we were just driving around and we ended up driving through like Pico Robertson

And we don't want to say where we live

Oh yeah, we can't take it again

We were driving through Bleib and then we just ended up calling the numbers of signs on lawns

Whenever it's for rent and then that ended up being probably the best way to find a rent-controlled place in LA

That's surprisingly not, doesn't have a 300% markup

Yeah, it's like with older building managers that don't know how to use the internet

There was a complete inept boob that ran this place ages ago

But that worked out perfectly for me because he was also very lazy in terms of sifting through applications

And spun some nonsense story about how it was so hard to get into this building

And then I really locked out with the people that I knew down the hall

But then as I learned out, I learned later it was very much if someone referred someone else into the building

And then I just solved the problem for the guy, which is funny because I ended up moving in like lots of people I know

Which was great for a while, some of them moved up and my friend Kieran still lives across the hall and that's really nice
