Hi good morning, and I'm here joined by my lovely and brilliant partner in truth and righteousness Margie

Hey Margie. Hey there for those who didn't join us for parts one and two part one was about bills

upbringing as a convert to Mormonism at age 17 and

his rapid ascent to

becoming a Mormon bishop by age 29

We talked a bit about Amanda's Mormon upbringing as well and her meeting Bill and

their early marriage together and then we talked about how a Mormon bishop could end up listening to

Mormon stories podcast as a Mormon bishop which led to Bill becoming a Mormon themed podcaster himself

and that's kind of how part one ended with Bill asking to be released as a bishop and wanting to

become a Mormon podcaster. Part two took it from there from his ending as a Mormon bishop and

kind of him carrying the torch as a faithful progressive Mormon podcaster carrying that torch

until the wheel started to come off the wagon for him a bit faith wise and he started to question

the sincerity and the ethics of the top Mormon church leadership which led to him

crossing the line that I crossed at some point and criticizing top Mormon church leadership

specifically Jeffrey R. Holland which led to his a disciplinary counsel and eventually an

excommunication which was how we ended part two of our interview. So part three the theme for today

we're going to do about a two and a half hour discussion today. It's going to be part stories but part

discussion. Today we're going to be covering Bill and Amanda's reconstruction after Mormonism

and what all that is meant. We're going to be talking about death. We're going to be talking about
