I hear you're taking vacation this week. Yep, that's right. This is my longest sustained break

from writing in, I mean, a very long time. I took a vacation in April as well, like a vacation

from Jacobin, but I think it was

just to do like other work that I needed to do, like work on some other projects. So this is my first

real vacation. And yeah, I don't know, September was kind of an exhausting month. I wrote a lot of

stuff. So, you know, it's nice being on vacation. I would recommend it.

I think this podcast is officially pro vacation.

Yeah, it's great.

You can go for nice long walks.

Toronto, for those who don't know, has just gone.

It's reverted to an earlier stage of lockdown.

So a lot of stuff's closed,

but I work from home anyway and, you know, haven't really been going out a lot except to go

for walks and exercise. So it hasn't really affected things much for me. Well, being between day

jobs at this point, I've basically been living a kind of vacation

lifestyle.

I mean, I'm quite productive.

I'm podcasting like a fiend.
