Good glad to hear it. So we have decided to revisit the topic of contacts and

calendars and I am so glad we picked this show because I feel like I just

have the most difficult time explaining to people how to best manage their contacts and calendars.

And in fact, this came up this past week at my MAC user group meeting and the entire hour of

question and answer ended up getting, you know, one person asked a question and the

entire hour ended up getting dominated with calendar in contact

or mainly contact questions and probably because I was explaining it so badly

and I just felt like a total utter and complete failure.

It's difficult and it's harder than it should be.

We covered this originally in show 42 which was in 2011 and a lot of stuff has changed since then so I thought it was worth

going back and kind of taking another look at it. The goal for the show is going to be

to tell people how this stuff works to make some recommendations of our favorite apps for managing calendars and

contacts and also just kind of some common sense advice about how we set

appointments and and deal with contacts and calendars in ways that that makes sense using all the great tools we know about.

I guess before we get into that though I do just want to throw out a quick reminder that we are going to do our first MPU live show coming up in about a week from now on March 1st at 10 PM Eastern 1 PM, I'm sorry 10 AM.

I made that mistake once before 10 a.m. Eastern or 10 a.m. Pacific 1 p.m. Eastern there we go.
