Today on the first 40 miles. So sometimes on the show we refer back to gear that we've

reviewed in the summit gear review. It's sometimes kind of surprising that it's like way back in episode 5 or 17. Some gear that we talk about is

gear that keeps coming up in conversations, it keeps coming with us on backpacking trips, it's well-built, and it's lasted.

It stood the test of time.

For me, the earliest gear review that is for gear that I still use all the time was from episode

number five where we reviewed my REI Ultra Light Hiker socks.
