Well, Father Bonaventure, here we are in the nice little gap in

lull in between Christmas and New Year's, a unique little position to be.

So as we go through this experience and kind of close one

year, begin another, what are some of those kind of unique experiences or

traditions that you have maybe in the post Christmas days, maybe

grown up or things like that.

What do you remember from these days after Christmas?

Yeah, this is a weird time because it's still a celebration from Christmas.

There's still a lot of presents being unwrapped or learned to play with and the school's out.

Usually the parents, people are home and you've got this almost

octave between Christmas and January 1st you're moving towards New Year's.

So family is still around, you know, you're visiting this sort of thing, people are coming to visit you.

That, you know, so I guess what I most distinctly remember about these times is that the liturgical time period is strange because we have so many feasts on it.

Now, I didn't grow up as a Catholic, so it's not like that's a memory I have,

but I do remember when I was an Anglican seminary and these were the weird days because it's even

harder to find your way around the Anglican prayer books than it is these days than it is in the

brevary and anyone knows the

literacy the hours knows it's tricky to find when to say what and how to
