Hey everyone, it's Susan Coffin and you are listening to Attitude magazine's ADHD

experts audio today's presentation is about a pretty critical topic for all of us

Most people with ADHD struggle to manage time

and to do the right things at the right times,

procrastination, time blindness and tardiness

or problems in our community.

Researchers taking a pretty close look at the ADHD brain

are beginning to understand the reasons why

we estimate use and value time differently

than, quote, neurotypical people. We're very pleased

day to welcome ADHD expert Ari Tuckman who will take a deeper look at the

science of time awareness and time management through an ADHD lens he will discuss the concept of the time horizon

and what he calls temporal discounting to help us all understand why some strategies work better than others.

And an interesting concept, I think,

is that he wants to help adults see time

by externalizing it and feel time by building motivation.

For those of you who don't know Ari Tuckman let me introduce

him briefly. He is a has a PhD in psychology and an MBA. He's given more than 300

presentations and he and I can vouch for this routinely earns excellent reviews for his ability

to take very complicated information and make it understandable and useful.
