the other big thing that we're going to go over today is that the fall summers

uh... not the fall summer I keep

wanting to say summer skirmish because got used to saying summer skirmish

or so long but the fall skirmish starts tomorrow you've probably seen over on Twitter or if you watch

streamers you've probably been hearing a bunch of them saying that they have

been invited and the invites have been sent out and we can actually go over the little post that Fortnite put

out themselves so this is the Fortnite fall skirmish series and this is the

fall skirmish details by the Fortnight team. They say,

what's up Fortnite community with season six right around the corner

competition is about to heat up. Details about the fall skirmish below.

Beginning in October we're opening up inclusive competition where everybody can play and compete.

To make that possible, we've had to harden and scale our systems and infrastructure. For example, August was Fort

Night's biggest month yet. With 78.3 million of you showing up to play. This exposed weak points and allowed us to make targeted

improvements to critical systems such as stats and servers. The summer scrimmage also, as you all probably notice, highlighted problems with performance and

spectating, which we've been working on ever since.

We're excited about kicking off the new competition

system and we'll have details dropping in the weeks ahead. On to the fall

skirmish. In our previous blog we mentioned the fall skirmish will include a variety of play formats each week.
