from leaders in the Knife. I'm your host Shroya Gupta and today we have the pleasure of having Dr. Jeffrey Marks here with us today.

Dr Marks is a professor, director of surgical endoscopy, program director at

Case Western University Hospitals, Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Marks hails from Wisconsin, he did his medical schooling at Tufts, followed by general

surgery residency, as well as advanced endoscopy at Mount Sinai Medical Center. He did a six-month advanced

Endoscopy fellowship under the world-renowned Dr. Jeffrey Ponski. In addition

to running a complex clinical practice in minimally invasive surgery and advanced therapeutic

endoscopy, Dr. Marks, spearheads an active animal lab researching and endoscopic techniques, providing endoscopic training courses for

surgeons, gastronyrologists, and allied health care.

Dr. Marks is now serving as the President of Society of American

gastrointestinal and endoscopic surgeons. We are so honored to have you Dr. Marks on
