Welcome to A Slub Cams Clean, the podcast. I'm Dana K. White. I blog over it.

0:05.5

A Slub Cams Clean.com, that's where I share my personal deslubification process.

0:11.5

As I figure out ways to keep my own home under control, I share the truth about cleaning

0:16.6

and organizing strategies that actually work in real life for real people, people who don't

0:21.1

love cleaning and organizing. Thanks for joining me today. This is podcast number 178,

0:27.1

because I'm calling it decluttering for home remodeling. I'm just going to say it though.

0:32.7

I'm calling it that, but it's mostly because I don't... Here's the thing. I don't consider

0:39.3

what I'm doing to be remodeling, but then I'll mention it and somebody is like, that's

0:44.5

totally remodeling and I'm like, you know what? I think of remodeling as knocking down

0:49.2

1:18.5

says, okay, but just check with her. Anyway, it's a real pain to do that. We did not do it ourselves,

1:26.1

and I'll talk later about kind of how I decided that we were ready to do that and that we cared

1:31.3

enough to do it, because I hadn't cared enough to do it in the past, and why we had somebody do it,

1:37.6

instead of doing it ourselves, which is mostly because I didn't want to do it myself and it

1:40.9

ever would have happened. But anyway, I'll get into that. Then we also are having painting done,

1:46.9

did I say that? And new flooring. And everywhere except the bathrooms in the kitchen, which had

1:53.4

tile, because I'm okay with those tiles, but we got new carpet in the bedrooms and we're getting

1:59.1

new wood floors in not real wood, but anyway, new wood floors in the main areas, like the living

2:07.2

areas of the house. So that's what we're doing. And so, you know, we're not like ripping out the

2:16.2

kitchen and living out of a temporary kitchen for months. Did y'all know I have seen some different
