Mike Gonzales, he's senior fellow at the Heritage Foundation based in Washington DC. He was a journalist

for almost two decades and he's co-author of the new book Next Gen Marxism what it is

and how to combat it. Mike welcome. Thanks a lot Todd. It's great to be here.

How can we raise the subject of Marxism without sounding like a conspiracy theorist?

Well, we can explain what it is. We can explain something that I think all Americans now understand

well is that our students are being taught to look at life through the prism of the oppressor versus the oppressed, the subordinate versus

the bully.

They've seen this because we've seen this at our campuses after October 7th, we can say, look, the reason why they're taking

the side of the Palestinians is because they're professors and everything else,

everybody else has cast the Palestinians in the role of the oppressed and Israelis in the role of the oppressor.
