We're this week we spend a little bit of time with a legend Roddy McDowell, friend of Dominics, and friend to all, really.

Thank you for joining me. This week we are taking quite a journey through

the life and death of Roddy McDowell. With a career spanning more than six decades, with

130 films, Roddy's life really was not quite like any other. Not only was he a very talented actor, Roddy was a pretty legendary

photographer as well, publishing five books of his photographs. But even more importantly,

Roddy McDowell was a friend to all in Hollywood. You couldn't ask for a better friend. He was loyal to the end. Roddy spills no

secrets. Ever. One of my favorite lines of his, Roddy McDowell will say, I am a great believer in the

private existence of public figures. Roddy seemed to blend both a private existence of public figures.

Roddy seemed to blend both a private existence and a very public life, both blended in his lifetime. This episode is a journey. Roddy's life, his famous friends, including our

man Nick, his wife Lenny, Elizabeth Taylor, Natalie Wood, Jane Fonda, Tuesday Weld,

Charmin Douglas, and so many, many more. Also included, we're going to visit Roddy McDowell's

infamous Malibu Beach parties. His shabby little beach house was the scene in the Hollywood colony in the mid-1960s,

and our man Nick was there documenting it all.
