Yeah. Welcome, everyone to the Refresh Your Wealth show with Mark Kohler and Matt Sorensen.

I hope 2018 is being as kind to you as it is to me. I'm definitely enjoying 2018 so far. I enjoy it. It's only three days. Hey, I'm just being positive, you know? Just being positive. Okay. All right. Don't be hating. Don't be hating. Yeah. There's not much that can go wrong in three days, but just buckle up. Oh don't know. Depends if you're a Clemson fan or, you know, the other football teams that lost. You know, you had some stuff go wrong. Yeah, yeah. Well, my daughter said that the secret to life is low expectations. So, then everything's up. Yeah. So just wake up her a day. Yeah. Today's going to suck. You know, you wake up like that. Then, you know, anything above that, you're a happy guy. Yeah. Well, okay. Well, we're going to be talking about that, I guess, in some way. In one way or the other, this is, you know, Mark Kohler, my co-host here, bringing in some high expectations for you guys for 2018. That's right. But we're going to flop that by the end of the show, hopefully, and get you psyched. I'm actually, I love New Year's. I don't know why. I'm a kind of a goal setting person. I always have been.

So, and Mark and I, we get geeked up on this. Just between the two of us, we love talking about it. And when we meet, we're always doing it and following up with each other. So, Mark, what we got for today's show? Yeah, I mean, let me just try to package it up here and I'll ask all of you to have low expectations and then you're going to be thrilled by the end of the show.

So really it's about dialing in your financial and business strategy, just the title of the show.

But really, we want to talk about strategic planning. What can you be doing better this year?

This is really a touchy-feely show for us.

The last few shows have been so technical with the new tax law and legal tips and issues and tax and legal planning.

Hey, we want to pump you up.

That's okay.

Many of our phone calls, Matt, are motivational in nature. Yeah, and it takes that mindset to be a self-employed business owner, entrepreneur, investor.

I mean, you've got to have that mindset.

You've got to be, I mean, you're really accountable to yourself.

And that takes setting some high standards for yourself, setting goals, and then, you know,

working your butt off to get there.
